i'll be honest:
1) as a WVU fan, i was mad when Slaton declared for the draft.
2) as a Texans fan, I was mad when the Texans traded down in the draft to get an extra 3rd round pick.
But now I couldn't be happier both things happened.
GO TEXANS!
just wanna say not only is steve one hell of a football player. He is one hell of a person. I was a teammateand an opponent of Steves' and I personally believe that he is the ideal model of what sportsmanship is.......Congratulations dude Levittown and Bristol are proud of you...
I think if he keeps having the season he is now, for sure rookie of the year, and maybe what this organization needs to get to the PLAYOFFS!!!!! I still think Darius Walker is underrated and should be Slatons backup...

Our HB savior is here! I followed him for 3 years at WVU, and was literally forthing at the mouth when I found out the Texans drafted him. I knew he'd do great things for this franchise, but I didn't know it would happen this fast. A winning record seems likely.
