One of the best ways of knowing everything Texans is to set up a Twitter profile 

Now you might be saying to yourself, "Self, nobody cares about what I have to say about what I ate for breakfast or what someone else ate for breakfast or the like,"  and you'd be right.  Some Twitter stuff reads like that, but there's also  a ton of good content on there too.  You don't have to write on Twitter if you don't feel like it.  For me, I mostly like it to read other people's stuff that I follow.
