Well, I live in the Rio Grande Valley..I grew up in Houston but moved down here in 1985..I love living down here, however I hate the fact that it's Spurs/Cowboys/Longhorn country down here..It gives me some pride when I see someone w/a Houston shirt,etc on...I bleed Houston colors all way..Became a Astros and Oliler fan in 79 and discovered the Rockets on their incredible run to the finals in 81 led by Malone and Murphy..Of course, I'm still a UH fan, despite not having the success that they had in the early 80s when Hakeem and Clyde were there, and later in the Andre Ware years..But when the Oilers left, it was devasting and there was such a void on sundays..But thank god, we got the Texans in 02...I'm so stroked about this season, I think the playoffs are a definite possibility..Hoping Cushing and Conner can really kick butt for our defense!!!
