Hi Texans Fans!
This is my first year dancing with the Texans and I am so excited to be a part of such an awesome organization. To let you know a little about me, I am originally from Louisiana and came to Houston for graduate school. I loved it so much- I made it my new home.
I attended Louisiana State University and majored in Kinesiology and then attended Texas Women’s University for Physical Therapy School. I just recently graduated from Boston University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. This sounds like a lot of school, but I really love what I do. I specialize in neurological rehabilitation, which is a very rewarding career. I work with clients who have had strokes, traumatic brain injuries, or spinal cord injuries and help them regain as much function as possible. Every day, I am inspired by my clients and the obstacles they overcome. In fact, my clients are the ones who encouraged me to follow my dreams of dancing on a professional level with the Texans.
I love being a Houstonian! This is a great city and the Texans are a great team! I grew up watching the Houston Oilers with my Pappy and brother—now I am still cheering the Houston football team on from the sidelines! How awesome is that!?!
I also really have a passion for dancing. I have had the awesome opportunity to dance for the Houston Rockets and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the Texans. This is going to be a great season and I look forward to getting to know the Texans fans!
Geaux Texans!
Samantha
